Isn't it sad on the discontinuation of site status checks

Editors would be in all honesty better off spending their time editing actual listing and maintaing the database , why do you need to post about whether your site has been listed when you can just check that yourself , There needs to be one clear and consice add free directory of the internet

Not aimed at anyone in particlar just my thoughts
