I was an editor on DMOZ. I do not understand exactly what happened but in case it will come again to life I would like to contribute again.

@tiberiu - Essentially, our previous backers decided to leave; we (the volunteer editor community) are working on a replacement directory, Curlie. :curlie:
@netguru - Yes, editors and privileges get ported - If you can PM me some more details (editor name, email used at DMOZ should do) you can be upgraded to editor here; also you should be able to sign into the new editor forums by asking for a password reminder. :2cents:

@Elper - Asking for password reminder at Curlie with ODP name/email gets me a "Your account has not been activated yet." (and no email after 10 hours). My ODP might have lapsed, but I don't think so.
