Finally! RBAuthority.com was added to the directory in Shopping:Sports:Racquetball... But in the actual entry for the description of the site, it makes no mention of racquetball. It just mentions racquets (which could also be squash or tennis). This will not allow a very good search experience for people looking for racquetball racquets. Please fix this. I submitted an update request by the way.

Since "Racquetball" is in the category name/path, it shouldn't be in the site title or description.

RBAuthority.com is prominently displayed on the site where as I'm still trying to find any reference to "The Racquetball Authority" on the site...

That is what the acronym stands for. That is what I submitted it to the search engines as. Otherwise, people will not be able to find us based on "Racquetball".

People are already now able to find your site based on a search for "racquetball". Enter "racquetball" into the search line, and you'll get to this page. And the second link on it leads to Shopping/Sports/Racquetball.

The full name helps give the PERSON who is browsing, a better idea of what it is! I don't see what the problem is?!

If you want the ODP to refer to your site as 'The Raquetball Authority', then simply alter your title graphic to say 'The Raquetball Authority', then send an update notice about your title change to the editor of the category. As long as all your main pages prominently display the title 'RBAuthority.com', then the ODP will refer to your site as such.

It'll take as long as it takes <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> But not to worry. If you request an update your current listing doesn't go away. So get working on those changes to your site to reflect the new title, and then submit your update request.

Its up and THE RACQUETBALL AUTHORITY now... would someone mind going in and changing it to maximize ease of searching for those people out there. It will take months for this category (editorless) to make a change.

If I was the editor of this category I probably wouldn't know what to do with an update request here and would probably delete it since some pages say The Racquetball Authority, some say rbauthority.com, and your mailing address says RBAuthority. Which is it? You really need to be clear or it's going to be left as is.

If the person is browsing through DMOZ, or Google directory, or anything that uses the ODP data, then when they get to Shopping/Sports/Racquetball/, they'll be well aware that it's about racquetball (since that is what the category is about), so it doesn't really matter if the ODP title is Racquetball Authority, RBAuthority, or even Qbuivrhgxzy.

When someone types in racquetball, their site will come up DIRECTLY in the search results, while my site is in a list which is a LINK indirectly in the search results... the full name of the site is the Racquetball Authority, so could you please go in and change it?
