There is nothing wrong with how the Site works, as I've stated this Link earlier, etc....[/COLOR]

There is something wrong with the way the site works. You have been told several times by several people.

Please, you are wasting our time. The site will not be listed until it is working properly and complies with the ODP submission guidelines.

I just tested, it took over 30 seconds to respond. Then displayed a directory listing of the files on your server.

Please get the technical help you need and fix your site. It is unlikely your site will be listed in the near future in ODP, as enough editors in different parts of the world have looked at it using different platforms and all found it deficient.

The problem is clearly at your end.

That's how it's supposed to be. It's like that so it's easy for me to share my Photographs with others, also with this design it is scalable so that I can make specific Pages in the future and point a new Domain Name to ém(just like the two already there). :2cents: Having a Listing in the Open Directory Project would make it much easier for my acquaintances, who may not remember my Domain Name Extension, but do remember my name and thus finding my Site in Search Engines(particually Google). I'm already number one on MSN.

You are quite at liberty to organise your website as you wish.

Similarly, we are at liberty to decline to list it - and we have.

Please do not resuggest it here until it has conventional navigation. Please be aware that doing so would be deliberately wasting our scarce resources. We don't tolerate that.

Reasons why my Internet Site should be listed in the 'Open Directory Project' Category Regional/Oceania/Australia/Society_and_Culture/Personal_Pages/
Australia - I'm an Australian in Australia.
Personal Pages - It's an Internet Site operated and about by myself, and Hosted on my own Computer.
There is no Illegal content on my Internet Site, nor is any of it Misleading or Demeaning.

If Jonathan-Ferguson.tk is not listed in the 'Open Directory Project' within the next 24 hours, I will have no other option but to pursue this matter with the Equal Opportunity Commission Victoria, Australia and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission

Go for it, we will no longer deal with anything you say in this forum.

By the way do you recall reading this when you suggested the site
Submission Agreement
In exchange for ODP's consideration of the site I am submitting, I agree
To be bound by the ODP's Terms of Use.

To waive any claim related to the inclusion, placement, exclusion, or removal of this or any other site in the ODP Directory or to the title or description of any site appearing in the ODP Directory; and

To grant Netscape Communications Corporation a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, publish, copy, edit, modify, or create derivative works from my submission.

I also acknowledge that Netscape and the ODP have unfettered editorial discretion to determine the structure and content of the directory and that, because a site's placement in the directory is subject to change or deletion at any time, I may not rely on any aspect of a site's inclusion in the directory. (i.e. "submission" means the title and descriptive information you supply for your site, not the actual website or its contents).

I have read and understand the submissions guidelines, and I'm ready to submit my site

goodbye

I believe, that since you have now made that statement, we can neither list your site or continue discussions with you. Further communcation should be directed to legal staff at Netscape Communications Corporation.

We list sites with non-conventional navigation, and for jimnoble to imply otherwise is reckless. In fact, we list sites with no navigation at all. We list Flash websites, we list Word documents, Excel documents, and Postscript files. If you had your non-conventional navigation, but linked to quality documents, your site would be listed. What your site lacks is content, and this is why your site will not be listed. You have 2 forum threads copied from some other forum, and 3 zip files that I'm not touching, and I doubt many editors would.

Is that a legal threat?

That is certainly not a Legal threat, I'm only abiding by the Law.
