No there is no such rule. Editors are expected to treath all sites equaliy.

Maybe I should have written "These are certainly not all sites owned by editors."

Then, what I've said is partially true. Now, there are two ways in which you can get your site listed twice. If one or more editors pick your site up, or if you're an editor yourself. ;)

No, there's only one way a site can be listed twice, just like there's only one way a site can be listed once. An editor has to list it--whether once, twice, or a hundred times, an editor has to list each one.

The rules are the same for editors' sites and non-editors' sites. (Well, almost the same--an editors' site is much harder to get marked 'cool'.)
