Arlingtonecho.org is a porn site. Search engine and DMOZ listings make the .org site appear to be the legitimate public school facility arlingtonecho.net

If my judgement on previous 'inappropriate sub-cat report' is correct, there are more I'd like to report. Please let me know if my judgement is incorrect, so I'm not barking at the wrong tree.

(Here are some dead sites in the cat but, I also want to point out that I think this whole cat is kinda nutty. There are 203 sites listed when we know their are tens of thousands. Shouldnt this cat be broken down into sub cats like tech, books, arts, hardware, etc? Or done away with all together since I am sure it is pretty spammy at times.)

dobariya, I can't see any problem with that listing in either of the two places it is listed in the ODP. Could you be more specific, please? (Please note that things like invisible text intended to fool search engines does not mean a site can't be listed, provided it is otherwise listable.)

(Am leaving the posts from simonjq and chaz7979 for somebody else to deal with - I don't have the time right now)

I agree with nea, dobariya. That particular site, by itself, qualifies to be listed once in a Topical category, and once in a Regional category (not all businesses do), and the title and descriptions for each listing are properly written. So, I see no abuse there.

But, if this site is only one of many that this company might have, then that's another matter, only one site is allowed, the rest would be considered spam and removed from the Directory. If that's the case, then thank you very much for making us aware of it, that is very helpful, :) .

Just don't post the urls in public, send them by private message to a meta editor, ;) .
