It's three months now since I last enquired about this site originally submitted back in 2003. Is there any progress? And is the waiting list in which it is queued moving, or is it static? For information, my original submission was back in October 2003.

Is there any movement in this category? And can anyone be kind enough to suggest when, one day, one month, one year, the site might actually get listed?

And no, we are unable to give any information about when a particular site will be listed, as our Crystal Ball interface (Microsoft ActiveScry) has been affected by the Sasser worm and is currently informing us that Manchester United will win the next Superbowl. Well, if no ODP editor has edited a vast regional category such as Regional/Europe for over a year and a half, is there really any point in submitting to Dmoz at all??
Let's be fair and honest, this does NOT suggest that "humans do it best"... It would seem that neither humans nor machines are doing it at all in this case.

I see that the category to which I submitted my site still has no editor.
I still remain in hope that one day, the site I submittted will get listed.

Have you noticed that we're not http://www.mirago.co.uk ? That notice would be a supplemental listing added by them, not something actually in that category from us.

And the date on their listing means they're not pulling in the real category data live but are using a very outdated copy of the RDF (or are crawling another site that itself is using an outdated copy of the RDF). You also need to keep in mind that even the date on the real category isn't a reflection of the latest date that an edit was made anywhere in Regional/Europe -- it's the date the last edit was made to the top level Regional/Europe category only.
