Im trying to help out a bit by posting a dead link in (wow could you imagine that) the category we've submitted to, yet its still there. Im not writing to ask for an update because I know how strict you guys are about that. I've turned into an "odp addict", I'm constantly checking the forum and the category we've submitted too and the dead link is driving me mad.

So even though this won't speed up the submission process, could you at least take a look at this dead link and help out an odp junkie?

It seems as though we keep getting overlooked. Is it right of me to repost? I was hoping you could give us a staus check on our site submission. The original submission was for www.cgadgets.net we have since moved our domain to www.convenientgadgets.com, in the hopes of establishing a clearer identity.

Hi Again,

I feel as though I have been blacklisted. My posts seem to go unanswered, have I done something wrong? My last submission update was posted on the 16th of March. I guess really it does not matter since I doubt that reviewing editors count on this forum as they review the various submissions. Still though, this forum is a great service for all of us hoping to someday be included in DMOZ.

Could you please check the status of http://www.convenientgadgets.com submitted to http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Consumer_Electronics/C/. Maybe this is to broad of a category since I'm sure theres 1000s of sites awaiting review. Have you any other suggestions of a suitable category? Most categories listed under gadgets seem to fall in the UK. Any way a new category could be started dealing with gadget stores here in the USA? Hopefully this post will finally reach you....more patiently then not patiently awaiting your reply.

Dregna, I apologize that your post keeps slipping by us, it is nothing personal, and you are not being blacklisted or ignored, althought I understand why you could begin to feel that way.

What happens is that we are getting a very high volume of queries, and once you slip past the first page, it is really easy to skip over you because of the number of posts in this thread.

when speed-reading the second and third pages to see if anyone has been missed, we tend to look for threads with zero replies, and a thread with umpteen replies simply does not catch our eye. You have done nothing wrong, you have been polite and helpful, so there is no reason for us to intentionally bypass you.

Having said all that, I regret to inform you that no editor has yet to touch your submission, which continues to wait.

Thank you for your patience and I hope that the next time you inquire, we have better news for you.

Im writing in the hopes of obtaining an update for my submission. Also, I've just recentlty moved domains (again) for the 3d and last time, I swear! All my old domains are now pointing to the following url via 301 re-directs: http://www.cgets.com.

No change in status: your site is still awaiting review.

I checked the category today which I submitted to and found that my site has been listed: http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Consumer_Electronics/C/. Awesome!! The only problem is that the URL listed is the wrong one. The url listed for Convenient Gadgets is www.cgadgets.net. It should be www.cgets.com.

Im not sure if this is the right place to post this or not. Could someone please help me out on this, thank you so much!!
