thanks for responding i'm was trying for another way to ask so i didn't get ( It"s in there pending review ) my first post was back in march.. could someone please have a look at my site and let me know the status... just a note I have tried several times to become an editor because i know the editors are swamped with requests.. so i do appreciate what this directory is about..

I'm not sure why you don't understand.

We will do no reviews just because the webmaster ask for it. We don't deliver that kind of service. You can detremine yourself if your site is able to get into the directory. Just read our guidelines.

means - stop asking - we are not doing it.

First thing is that only a very few of the editors at ODP post in this forum --that means the chances of the editor who is actively working on that category seeing your message is close to zero.

Other editors who able to review your site will not go and do it because you post here - that's the rules - there are tens of thousnads of sites waiting to be review - you are not going to get special treatment.

To be blunt - stop asking.

Your site is waiting to be reviewed in http://dmoz.org/Business/Construction_and_Maintenance/Commercial_Contractors/Interior/ . It may or may not be reviewed within the next six months; there is no way for us to tell. If you haven't seen it included by June 14 you are welcome back to this same thread for a status update.

If you have applied to become the editor of http://dmoz.org/Business/Construction_and_Maintenance/Commercial_Contractors/Interior/ you should be aware that that a new editor would not get that category - there are too many sites waiting for review there. (And to anticipate your next question: This doesn't mean no editor would edit there, just that a trainee wouldn't get saddled with it.)

If it makes you feel better, after a quick look I can't see anything obvious that would prevent it being listing when an editor has time to do a proper review. Also navigate through the Regional part of the directory until you get to the category for Bellport and submit the site there as well. That does not mean I have had time to do a proper thorough review so that does not mean that the site will eventually be accepted, I'm not pre-judging.
