Any idea of the timeline

I'm sorry, but there is no way anybody could know how long it will take for a site to be reviewed. It could happen in a few days or after a year or more.

That is up to you if you want to do

as long as you leave at least one month between checks.

Should I try to contact the editor?

You could, but it is by no means certain that you'll get a response. Editors get hate email and worse from submitters and for that reason they are not encouraged to respond to inquiries - which is one reason this forum exists. In any case, there are several editors who can edit in that category, and sooner or later one of them will come by and take care of some unreviewed sites. It's just not possible to tell when it will be.

Hello I just wanted to check back 6 months later to see if there is an update. I also submitted to Regional: North America: United States: Texas: Localities: G: Graham: Business and Economy last month so can I also check on that here or do I need to start a new thread?

You are still waiting in the Storage category with little or no change. You are also waiting in the Regional category and your submission is the only one waiting in that category.

Thanks on the listing. It went smooth like any other listings I've gotten, but this orignal request has taken quite some time. Is there still a long list waiting approval? Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Graham, as you can imagine your submission is far from being the only one waiting in this category. I therefore suggest you wait a couple of months between status requests rather than only one month. Not that we won't check if you ask, but we should be realistic here. Thanks for your comprehension.

I have no problem waiting if someone would give me some more information. I've been monitoring this category for the last few months, and I haven't seen any new sites added. In addition in the first several replies I got back from mods, they would tell me that there is still a large number of sites ahead of me.

Are there still a large number of sites ahead of me? Is the mod of this particular category even reviewing sites anymore?

You are receiving the only kind of information we are able to give - that your site is waiting for review. It is true that we used to inform submitters of the approximate number of submitted sites waiting for review. But since that information is meaningless - it has absolutely no bearing on the number of sites in the category that will be reviewed before any one particular site, or on the time remaining until any one submitted site will be reviewed - we have stopped giving it.
