Status?

This is not the place to request a site review. You did that when you suggested the site. And as part of that review, the editor will consider whether there's a better place to list the site. (We do that for all sites, nobody has to beg us special!)

could take you 1-100000+ years to get reviewed IF your category has an editor. If not then your site will never be reviewed

Actually, it can take a day (used to be a few minutes, but there's now an automated filter which processes suggestions daily) to never (if no one is interested in the category). Whether there's a listed editor in the category is irrelevant.

Every category has multiple editors, so the second condition never arises.

While every category may have editors many are no longer updated, corrected or up to date. Pretty much abandoned by the stated editor.

That didn't quite make sense

Sir, it means that the categories are never abandoned. It seems its not updated but it is in visual range. There are no listed editors but it is in visual range or the editor just dont want to list his/her name in the category since he/she already has the authority of the higher category. Those are just examples of how far an editor can go through a category.

So by the examples I gave you would give you an oversight of how all suggested sites are seen by every rank and file.

With regards to the Contact Lense it is an example that might be needed if having difficulty reading the FAQ.
