Don't Understand

What does "[redacted by moderator--see warning above]: mean?

I looked at the last response that said wait 6 months between requests which I had done. Can someone please clarify for me?

Thanks.

Site Submission Status Gas Scooters .net

Hi All,

I have waited patiently for over 6 months for a status request. Can someone with the right permissions please review my site www.gasscooters.net ?

My fiance is depending on me. Please help and get this site reviewed.

Thanks

You still don't understand it.
You can NOT I repeat NOT ask for a review.
If you, your site or your fiance is depending on a listing of your site in ODP than I can tell you that you have a totaly wrong business plan. Delete your site and start finding a real job.

If you want to ask for the status of your suggestion you are free to do so.

We'll assume it was a request for a status report. Unfortunately the site has been rejected. The reasons can be found in our guidelines under the section about sites we don't list. Sorry, you could have avoided the wait by reading those thoroughly in advance (the relevant bits are repeated on the URL suggestion form).

Status Request Gas scooters .net

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I don't know why that other guy got so mad. I was simply asking for a submission status. I am a bit confused as to why it was rejected. The site is all about gas scooters .

Any ideas would be thoroughly appreciated. Should I resubmit? I know the site was down for a few weeks. Is that maybe why it was rejected?

Thanks

No, do not resubmit - your site is not listable at all - it falls into one of the categories of sites we will never accept for a listing. For details of what types of site that covers see http://dmoz.org/guidelines/include.html but if you want to have it translated into plain english, all rejections ultimately come down to insufficient high quality original content to meet our ever increasing standards for inclusion.

You weren't asking for a status report, you have repeatedly asked for editors to review your site and repeatedly been told that this cannot be done - editors must not be pressurised into reviewing sites.
