It seems clear from the dialogue that the mistake was in adding the site in the first place and it was later corrected. You never know, one of the downstream data users might have taken a download in the intervening period and captured the entry until they get their next update so you may well continue to benefit from the error for a while.
There was quite a few helpful hints I thought in terms of how the site might qualify for at least reconsideration, not something you get very often from editors so I think you've done very well!
