IP address not visible?

thehelper said:
It could be. Posts piling up like this from different people all of a sudden having the same problem sometimes are indicitave of some sort of technical problem. Maybe one of the Hamsters died? Will look into it.

Same problem here, (have also used 3 different pcs to try and make a submission) and my IP address is definitely visible to other sites.

Is there a solution from dmoz at this stage?

Thank you

Same problem.

Tried from 2 different networks, asked friends on different ISP's to try and they ALL got the same errors (ISP's used, sympatico.ca, Direcway and Videotron)

It seems that even on static IP's the submission is getting rejected.
I will take up the kind offers made by the editors here to submit my site.

Please wait. Staff has been notified and they will notify us, and we will notify you when it is fixed. We have enough confirmations of this bug at this time and have successfully been able to duplicate the problem.

The offer to manually submit sites was made before we understood how widespread the problem was. We cannot manually submit sites for everyone experiencing this problem at this time. Sorry about that. I expect that the submission process will soon return to normal. Updates will be posted in the bugs and features forum.

If someone would be brave enough to try again - the problem appears to have been fixed. I tested and it works for me.

This problem appears to have now been fixed. Anyone still experiencing difficulties, please feel free to post here. I have closed most of the other threads relating to this issue.

Bravo Bravo very well done.

Bravo Bravissimo very well done!
My wife is always singing that little ditty when anything goes right (girl guide hangover?) so kudos to the O-D-P for the fix, notwithstanding the pain and suffering of punching through about ten submissions and getting not a cigar.

Thank you so much. But I think I have commited the unpardonable:-(, I re-submitted the site before coming back here (where I was able to read your comments that you have assisted me). Many apologies and many thanks again.

Patricia.

One extra submission isn't a problem. Don't sweat it.

It's the ones who submits dozens, hundreds, thousands of times that are a problem.
