The bug you reported in the update process has been reported to and acknowledged by our technical people. It's been given the status of "minor bug" I'm afraid, so please don't expect immediate results. It will, I am quite sure, be fixed in due time.

The other issue really doesn't belong in this "Bugs and Features" forum, but editor windharp was kind enough to address it anyway. If you have any further questions, I'm sure they will get faster and perhaps better attention in a more appropriate forum.

Starting a second thread on the same subject in this forum doesn't really gain you anything, not even with an exclamation point on the end of the thread title.

The current description and title is misleading
Per our guidelines with few exceptions, the site title is the official business name, or if none, the title of the site.

It is also our policy that if at all possible we are not to repeat category words or terms in the description. I think one can assume in a category with such a clearly defined name, what the sites will be for.

Please refer to the editorial guidelines which are linked from the public submit url page:

http://dmoz.org/guidelines/describing.html

The word 'poetism' does not get picked up by search engines
Dmoz is not a search engine. The phrase "open directory project" is indicative of what it is - a directory.

Dmoz accepts and makes no money for it's listings and listing sites. As such we are able to have our own policies and editing guidelines.

If sites do not want to comply with these guidelines, they are more than welcome to request their listing be removed, and go to a pay service which will list the site to the clients preference.

I hope this answers your query. Again please review the guidelines in the link I gave you, should you need more clarification.
