Re: URLs With Changed Content: Report Them Here ON

Hello

This is the correct URLand should be pointing here :
http://www.confedalot.com

This is what it points to :
http://confedalot.hypermart.net

Main of confedalot.hypermart.net
TEST PORN. FREE PORN Amateur Porn BBW FAT GIRLS ASIAN PORN
Shemale Porn Movies Mature Women Porn Shemales Pornstars
Description: Specializes in confederate apparel and gift items. T-shirts, caps, flags, menswear, ladieswear, kiddiewear.
Category: Shopping > Clothing > Casual

Additional Comments & Info :

When you go to the category and click on the site name ( ConfedaLot ) , it now goes to the correct URL at ( http://www.confedalot.com ) , However, when you do a search on the name confedalot at dmoz it points to porn and confedalot.hypermart.net ( both Incorrect ) .

At google which pulls from dmoz , when you search on confedalot or confedalot.com , it now points to porn and confedalot.hypermart.net .... should be pointing to confedalot.com ONLY .

Thanks in advance for any assistance in the matter .

The search index hasn't be re-created since the URL was changed in that category. It'll be sorted out on the next re-indexing, which we expect to be in 2 or 3 weeks, after some new hardware has been installed for it.

What's in Google's directory and Google's search is none of our concern.

They've all been taken care of (note: due to a quirk in the system, it looked as though they had already all been taken care but that's now been resolved). Thanks for reporting those.

Re: URL which appears out of place, at best and mi

Thanks for scouting this out (or outing that scout, or whatever). It's been pulled.

The physician-jobs-physician-employment one has been physically sent to physicians' hell.

Thanks for your help.

Okay, although they've changed methods since I first spotted them, these guys are spamming and hidin' links like crazy.

The first incarnation had black text on a black back-ground, with some hidden links which themselves had redirects to definately not-on-topic pages. This latest is much more subtle, and if you don't check the code, the sites not too bad. Anyway, I'm not the judge!

mipapage,

you may want to take a look at the ODP Guidelines. Hidden text and hidden layers are not our business: we do care about the user's experience in visiting the site.

That is, what a webmaster does in order to fool Search Engines may or may not lead to him having problems with the Search engines depending on how they set their algos, but until the site is compliant with the ODP Guidelines we list it.

Right, sorry, as I said, these guys changed their methods - I thought maybe there'd be a remnant of the old site which I am certain was a bait and switch.

I had some trouble posting here at first, and at that time (about three weeks ago) all of their links redirected to stuff outside of the 'industry', and they had no content of any value - just a lot of repetitave text that you couldn't read, as black-on-black tends to do that! A Dmoz editor saw the site and sent me here - as they did have a Dmoz listing, we figured that they must have baited and switched.

Recently falling out of a certain SE perhaps had something to do with the nice new site. Sorry to have wasted your time on this one!

It's not exactly a highly active category. I've removed it. Thanks.
