I don't think the concept of indeterminacy is really that alien. I believe the problem here is the cause of the indeterminacy.

An uncertainty relation arises between any two observable quantities defined by non-commuting operators.

In quantum physics the Heisenberg uncertainty principle expresses a limitation on accuracy of (nearly) simultaneous measurement of observables such as the position and the momentum of a particle.

This thread has petered out IMHO.

The article was basically a pasted together metareview of ODP bashing. He gathered bashes of ODP and put them into an article. And, he got what he wanted -- lots and lots of traffic to his site. End of story.
