The view listings means that N number of people have looked at the discussion thread. They may be editors, they include yourself, they may be other submitters in desperate search of a clue, they may be spammers looking for a chink in our armor, they may be slimy submitters hoping to catch us in an inconsistency that they can exploit. We really don't know who they are and we really don't care.
Who looks at your postings in this forum and what happens to your site review are totally, absolutely unrelated. Odds are that none of the editors, editalls, meta or administrators who have looked at your thread will even touch your suggested URL. Case in point, I have 1,200 or so postings, and I can think of maybe three cases where I actually edited the site in question.
This forum is an authorized but independent effort of the ODP editing community. It was started by a team of our Meta Editors (the highest and most trusted level of editors). There are a couple of hundred active editors who participate here out of the approximately 10,000 active ODP directory editors.
the purpose of this forum is to provide two way communication between editors and submitters. No editing actions are intended to be taken as a result of postings in this forum, with the exception of the abuse forum, where valid postings usually generate nearly immediate action by the seniormost editors.
Some editors will, on occasion take an action as a result of a posting here, but it is usually an action that protects the integrity of the directory -- which means we don't list or review sites as a result of postings here. It also means that there is a very slim chance that the editor who does review a given site will have seen the forum postings. People who behave very badly in this forum do get noticed, though.
I doubt that the e-mails you are receiving are from active editors. We avoid sending e-mails to submitters unless it is absolutely, positively necessary.
