Blair, I am the editor who originally listed your site. I have rereviewed your site and I agree with Kokopeli's decision to delist it for the reasons she cited.

Either you've sold a lot of items since I first reviewed your site or I made a mistake in listing it in the first place. If I made a mistake in listing your site, I sincerely apologize to both you and kokopeli for the problems this has caused. The site probably should never have been listed. :(

Hi Ann,

Thanx for coming forward with your comments...

I have one question.. referring to my site you said "Either you've sold a lot of items since I first reviewed your site or I made a mistake in listing it in the first place"..

I'm not too sure what you mean? is it against ODP guidelines to sell items? or is it the fact that I leave the sold items at the bottom of my pages as a reference? if I remove my sold listings does this make my site acceptable?

please clarify as I am very confused now...

P.S. Kokopeli never cited the reasons she removed my site....

thx...

arubin told you the reason in the second post of this thread. kokopeli mentioned it in item 21

We really aren't supposed to discuss why any particular site is listed or declined and I think we're already on the edge of what's acceptable. I'll only say that your "sold" content appears to be the main focus of your site. I don't recall just what I was thinking when I accepted the site into shopping, but I can guess that I was distracted by the beauty of your pieces and overlooked the heavy sold content. I've listed thousands of sites and have declined even more, sometimes a mistake is made...it's that "human" thing. I truly am sorry.

Thx....I think I got the hint now....

Sorry about taking up everyone's time....

It's too bad delisted sites have a supposed 1 percent chance of being "relisted" after a retrofit....

Well....I just revamped my site thanks to the suggestions of a few helpful editors..

I have resubmitted for listing in the same category, hopefully I'll have a shot at being relisted....

thx to everyone that provided helpful hints! :)

As a casual surfer, I hope you will consider adding the sold items you have removed to an archive, similar to some of the reference galleries you already have on some manufacturers. The beauty of the pieces deserves to be seen.

Good luck with your resubmission. :)
