In http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/Indonesia/Business_and_Economy/Industrial/Manufacturing/ ,

PT. New Module Int must have the longest desc. in the directory.

In http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/I...Economy/Industrial/Food_and_Related_Products/ ,

All 3 entries are the same company.

In http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/Indonesia/Business_and_Economy/Industrial/Import_and_Export/ .

Indonesia at WTO Network has a lousy desc.

In http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/Indonesia/Business_and_Economy/Industrial/Energy/ ,

Is PT. Badak NGL. really "The World Largest LNG Producer"?

The next desc. has the phrase "east kalimantan" in it.

In http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/Indonesia/Business_and_Economy/Construction_and_Maintenance/ ,

The first entry should be listed under Bali, and the second under Bandung.

Directory Issues

In http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/Guides_and_Directories/ ,

1. East Asia Directory - Just how many links should a directory listing have in order to be in the ODP? This one has maybe 20 or 30 (you can't trust the numbers in parentheses, btw). I'd have thought there should be at least several hundred, if not thousands, for a listing in the category of Regional/Asia/Guides_and_Directories/ .

2. Ricebox.com - This one at least has more listings than the one above, although it's still pretty sparse for Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Another problem is that it redirects to something other than its title url, ie http://www.fbe.hku.hk/~conner/acno1/

A general directory would be expected to be quite well established with many links. For niche directories, depending on the topic, quality of links, etc, they may have substantially fewer and still be listable. I agree with you on East Asia Directory, but I left Ricebox.com. Note - the title does not match the URL, but we list sites using the actual title found on the site and with the actual URL, so that is fine.

Hi dream2005, this thread is destined to report already listed sites which have issues such as hijacks, not the ones we haven't listed yet. If you know of good sites on a topic, by all means suggest them to the appropriate category.

How to report dead and inappropriate Content

I spoke with Jim Noble and he told me to report all of the broken and inappropriate content on a particular sports category that I have found. Since I am unfamilar with the forum rules and want to abide by all the laws what is the proper way to report and post the links to this thread?

Ideally, you should provide a clickable link to the directory category where the site is listed, the URL, the title for the site (as listed in the category), and the reason for reporting the site.
