The Category http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Hospitality/Directories/Event_Planning/ has a few sites that should not be listed there..

1 - The Stagweekends Company Website - Organise stag nights and weekend packages throughout the UK. Arrange the hotels, pubs, clubs, strippers and motor sports events. - This is a company website not a directory and a UK regional site.

2 - Scottish Weddings - Information for planning a wedding, including Scottish wedding venues. - Should be listed in UK Weddings category.

3 - Gift Baskets - National listing of suppliers of gift baskets for corporations. - Lots of affiliate links and would be better listed under gift baskets.

3. JCDecaux (Macau) H. Nolasco & Cia., Lda - The same url is also listed in Hong Kong but has a completely different title, ie JCDecaux Pearl & Dean Ltd. Shouldn't they both at least have the same title?

Not sure if this is a hijack or anything manipulated, but when I look at http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&cat=gwd/Top&q="vasectomy.com"&start=0&sa=N it gives me 39 ODP links, but only one of them lists the website that has supposedly 39 links on DMOZ. This is obviously an error, right?

We're not Google. To find out why Google's version of the directory behaves how it does, you'd have to check with them.

Re. item #4743, I notice not a whole lot has been done here for the last few weeks. Does that mean it's not going to happen, or am I supposed to do something about it myself? I don't actually mind, it's just that I have to go thru some hoops to get there.

I did not realize I had been gone for four years until just receiving an "account deactivation" notice.

This is to report essentially a "dead" link.

Under your Games: Video Games: Shooter: R: Rune: Clans and Guilds, the http://www.dsr.nu/ link for the "Deadly Soul Riders [DSR] - News, member roster, and rules" is "dead".

The DSR Rune Clan's webmaster contacted me to say after their site had been hacked by scriptkiddies so many times, it was decided to fold it. All you will see now is a page explaining "why" it is gone.

In the proper forum, I will petition other links to replace it and/or to expand the "Rune: Clans and Guilds" offered there. The game is still very much alive.

You are replying to quite an old post, which reported what the poster found in March. And in any case a site would not be unreviewed or moved just because a post in this forum says so; editors will check and review the sites again, and then delete or move or change the listings based on that review.

Besides, the site isn't even responding, so I'd say it looks like it was a good call

I've searched in this thread and apparently someone reported my site as a hijacked link hence it's been removed from the directory.

It's unlikely that if a blog is added to a base url another listing will be made, so imo it would be best to use an update request when the new content is actually online.

http://www.iworkwithfools.com/ site has not been updated since 2007. Does it still deserve to be included?

Considering the category it's listed in, and that the people it describes are probably still wreaking havoc, I'd say still listable, but other editor's opinions may differ.
