Commercial sites listed in informational categories

Sorry if I am mistaken, but I think that some sites listed here: http://dmoz.org/Regional/South_America/Brazil/States/Pernambuco/ don´t belong there.

The cat has 4 sites listed.

Site 1 http://www.noronha.com.br/indexe.htm goes to a redirect page (URI changed); the target page seems OK.

Site 2 http://www.pousadapeter.com.br/ brings some info about the city, but most pages are devoted to advertising the qualities of the hostel

Sites 3 http://www.katur.com.br/
and 4 http://www.recifetropicalimoveis.com.br/ are nothing but splash pages of commercial businesses (no info at all about the city).

Are those listings OK?

Well, laws.com wants at least $750,000 - so who knows how to value these things.

Do I have a crawler?
Yes - my fingers and my brain. The list I've constructed stands at about 75 domains for sale. I didn't want to overwhelm you, so I've been parceling these things out gradually. It appears that too many problems thrown at you guys all at once might not get processed in a timely manner. Anyway, I'll deliver more if you want them. I am new to this site and I'm only here because I can't get anyone to reply to my requests. I checked on the status of my report of abuse and it states that it has been resolved, but it hasn't. Our company is the owner of a trademark "Model Graphics" and the open directory is listing a direct infringer on our trademark. We have already contacted this company and they have agreed to cease and desist but I can't get anyone to get this link out of this system. The link is listed at Shopping/Recreation/Models/Railroad/Accessories/Model Graphics. How can I get this illegal link removed?

The best way is fo the company to submit an update to their listing using the link at the top of the category (when they changed their name should have submitted an update for their listing). The next best option is for you could contact them, and ask them to submit an update request.

These are the best ways because it more closely assures that the change is done on the behalf of the site owner.

Less desireable but also possible ways are to send a feedback to the category editor, or the first editor you encounter above the category if it doesn't have one and see if they will change it or wait and see if someone with the capability to edit in that category comes across your post here and is willing to change it.

As for the illegality of the name, that's between you and the other firm.

In short, the answer is simple: ODP is not involved in law enforcement. That simply means that enforcement of trademark issues is between your company and the company that you claim is infringing upon your trademark.
