I clicked on the root URL - it redirected to http://www.toremar.it/html/home/mainframeset.htm which is has the same root URL - therefore it is listed correctly according to the guidelines. Now if when I clicked on the root url and it redirected me to www.buysomething.com/html/home/mainframeset.htm. Then I would change the listing to reflect the shortest URL that would take me to the redirected URL.

Added - Might have helped if I'd actually reviewed what it went to - saw it was in Italian - but wasn't looking for an English link

For Toremar Ferries - are you saying that you get a blank page when clicking on http://www.toremar.it? It seems to be working fine for me. However, as the site does not now seem to provide an English link, it was removed from this category.

Just to clarify my response. It appears that the editor who listed the site chose to use and describe the deeplinked page, so I see no reason to change it.

checking twice, I am on an italian server, using firefox don`t get forwarded, works fine with IE6 and Opera8

You are correct it doesn't appear work in FireFox or Mozilla and should probably be noted {may not work in all browsers].

Regarding #1709. Are you referring to keyword spamming in the source code? If so, the editors generally will look only at the actual content of the site. SEO techniques used by the webmaster for search engine indexing are not really a concern of DMOZ editors, as we are not a search engine.

In #1710 you have once again pointed out a main listing with two deeplinks. As already explained, this is an acceptable practice at the discretion of the editor. On the other hand, if the problem you are pointing out is with the title, description, or site content, an Italian speaking editor will need to take a look.

You know I am living in italy, frankly I do not see an italian editor changing one of those listings. This specific page, has very little content, showing up in search results like a super spammy ebay shop. I doubt the qualification of the editor who listed it, even 3 times, that`s it. I am following the listings in the Italian section very closely, very funny to see these highly decorated editors, given the listings added during e.g. one month time, it makes one think and wonder...
