The date of your submission shows to be 28/Oct/2003 so you need to wait until after 28/Nov/2003 before you can check the submission status as per the forum guidelines.

It's waiting for review in Shopping/Jewelry/Varied_Merchandise/G/ with fewer than 40 other site suggestions - but the number of suggestions for the whole Varied_Merchandise category with all letters is above 500 so I'm afraid it could take a while. There is no way to predict, however - an editor could come by tomorrow or it could take more than a year. As editing is done on a volunteer basis, it's impossible to say.

As far as I could see, your site does offer varied merchandise, i e it's not geared towards any particular product or theme. And the description you submitted is written in the same style as the descriptions of the sites already listed - that sort of thing makes the editor's job easier, and in some cases it might make the process quicker. That's really all you could do to help it along, so now all you can do is wait.

Thanks for the update. I have one more quick question for you. My website, in addition to offering merchandise for sale, contains an informative jewelry learning center. In this case, would it be advisable to also list is in:

The main focus of your site is shopping, so it would fit best in the Shopping category.

It is no longer the policy of this forum to give out that information. The reason we don't is because it has been found to have little correlation with the time that an individual site takes to be reviewed.

Hi Nea,

Thanks for the follow up. I had a feeling it had slipped through the cracks...

In the months that I have been been waiting to get listed, I have been checking up on the Shopping/Jewelry/Varied_Merchandise/G/ category. For pretty much the whole time, there have been 18 sites listed. Out of the 18 sites, 3 have been broken links - specifically The Gold Place, Golden Star Jewelry and Gold'N Memories. Is there anyway to remove them and make room for some valuable, new additions?
