#2399 dealt with, thanks.

The warez issue is impossible for me to assess. You may well be right, but the site itself is not confessing to offering cracked software. So that would need an expert to look into.

It is thoughtful of you to suggest sites to list, but this is not the place for that. You can suggest a site by going to the appropriate category and using the 'suggest URL' feature. Anyone can do this. You don't have to be the site owner.

#2400 - Papabear I'm not quite sure what you are asking. When we talk about hijacking here, what we mean is a website being taken over by a new owner who puts different content on it. Of course that is perfectly legal. From our point of view it is a problem though, if we had that site listed with a description that fitted the previous contents, in a category appropriate to the previous contents.

So we would like to know when content changes in major way. A lot of helpful people have used this thread to tell us about hijackings as well as dead links.

#2407 - I'm seeking advice internally re warez, thanks. [Edited to add] I've been advised now by a computers editor, who agrees with you. The site is now delisted, although the change may not appear immediately on the public side.

As to sites awaiting review - yes there are many in some categories. Other categories are so well-tended that there are none. But I'm sure you will understand that if we started taking suggestions here, we would rapidly be swamped.

#2415 & #2416 dealt with, thanks. Since the online store has gone, it is no use in Shopping (or indeed anywhere else as a commercial site.)
