Replies to apply@dmoz.org result in permanent fatal errors

Hi,

I applied and received same error email and re-replied and got confirmation email.

Problem solved.

Yes, it made it and is queued normally. Sorry for the inconvenience caused by our wicked mail servers :eek:

I have applied and got an error when replied to confirmation email

Hi - I have applied to become an editor and got the confirmation email. But when I replied to it I got an error. Can you please help me? Thanks in advance.

Your Open Directory editor application could not be confirmed.
The error received was:

Bad authentication ticket

Not the same problem at all

You didn't report the full error mesage but it looks as though your reply got through twice. The ticket was consumed the first time ans so couldn't be found the second time.

Your application is awaiting evaluation.

Now I've re-applied after careful review as adviced :)

You just had to keep trying (that's all we do) - Anyway, it's now queued normally.

@vinujoy - I assume it's gone through OK, as I get the "Bad Authentification Ticket" error, a sure sign of success...

Sorry to both of you for this inconvenience.

As jimnoble said above, it just needs resending until you get a response other than the "relaying denied" error - thanks :)
